Transit U Inc. and Jolly Trolley have proposed a new shuttle service to the City of Rehoboth Beach. The route would connect Grove Park, the Deauville Beach parking lot, and the south end of the Boardwalk to downtown. The service proposed with two trolleys would operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The cost would be $1 per ride or $3 to ride all day. The projected operating cost to the City is $1,000 per day, approximately $106,000 a year.
